About
CEFR-aligned introductory Spanish for absolute beginners (college level, English speakers). Covers pronunciation and the alphabet, present-tense verbs, gender/number agreement, essential daily-life vocabulary, questions and negation, an introduction to the preterite past, and basic conversation and reading skills.
Goal
Achieve solid A1 with emerging A2 skills: introduce yourself and handle simple daily interactions in the present; form basic past-tense statements; read short texts; and sustain elementary conversations with accurate pronunciation, agreement, and core vocabulary.

- Greetings, Introductions, and Essential Courtesy Phrases
- Nouns, Gender, Number, and Articles
- Essential Daily Vocabulary: People, Family, Numbers, Time, and Classroom
- Subject Pronouns and Present-Tense Regular Verbs (-ar, -er, -ir)
- Ser, Estar, Tener, and Other High-Frequency Irregulars in Present
